The dems created the Disinformation Governance Board after Elon Musk bought Twitter. They plan to combat online disinformation. Ironically, the liberals are saying that they’re tackling disinformation…. when they are the ones who are twisting the truth with their censorship and power plays.
The dems created the Disinformation Governance Board for one selfish reason. This is because they were agitated with the Twitter buy-out. They lost a tool that they were using to manipulate the truth. However, the board was put on hold weeks after it was established. They were putting this on hold because of the bad press they received…
This June, the board is back. Kamala Harris announced that she will be leading a new “disinformation” task force. Are the liberals planning to use the Disinformation Governance Board to manipulate the truth?
Harris Appointed to Lead Disinformation Board
The Biden administration is still determined to regulate speech and twist the truth. The White House revealed that Harris would lead the new Disinformation Governance Board.
According to a White House briefing, the dems want to protect people who seek out a role in public life from online critics. The briefing said, “In the United States… women and LGBTQI+ political leaders, public figures, activists, and journalists are targets for online abuse and harassment. [It is] undermining their ability to exercise their human rights and participate in democracy, governance, and civic life.”
Then it added, “Online abuse and harassment… which aim to preclude women from political decision-making about their own lives and communities… undermine the functioning of democracy.”
The new task force’s members include other extreme leftists such as:
- Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas
- Attorney General Merrick Garland
- Secretary of State Antony Blinken
Harris Is Not Capable of Leading Anything
Harris officially accepted the responsibility of leading the new board. She said, “We still have so much more work to do to protect people from online harassment and abuse… which is why the work of this task force is so important.”
Then she added, “One in three women under the age of 35 reports being sexually harassed online. Over half of the LGBTQ+ people in our country are survivors of severe harassment. Nearly one in four Asian Americans report being called an offensive name.”
But we all know that Harris isn’t a capable leader. We’ve seen her:
- Throw away $25 million to manipulate voting rights
- Ignore the rising war and inflation
- Use her race and gender as excuses to counter bad press against her
- Cause several staff members from her office to resign
Former Trump 2016 Foreign Policy Advisor George Papadopoulos commented on Harris leading the potential return of a disinformation board.
The former Trump Adviser believes that if Harris failed at the border and didn’t prevent the Russian invasion… she can fail here as well. He said, “I believe Kamala Harris was ineffective at the borders. She also couldn’t prevent Putin from invading Ukraine. I don’t think she will be effective in curtailing the First Amendment.”
Papadopoulos thinks Harris won’t effectively lead the Disinformation Governance Board because she was unable to prove anything in the past year.
This would be a good thing for us, Republicans, because there’s a big chance of the new board being put on hold as well.
